Glendale Desert Diamond Arena prepping for $40M in renovations

Construction manager will be selected for work scheduled to begin this summer

The city of Glendale-owned Desert Diamond Arena is in the early stages of a major facelift.

ASM Global, which manages the facility inside the Westgate Entertainment District, on Monday issued a request for qualifications (RFQ) on $40 million in improvements. The selected construction manager or general contractor will provide design phase assistance and construction services for the Desert Diamond Arena renovation.

The budget for this phase includes all design and construction costs, and all internal costs and other costs associated with the project.
