Glendale COVID numbers up 29% in 5 weeks

Statewide cases up 197 percent

Arizona last week reported a 197% increase in reported COVID-19 cases in just five weeks, and the numbers in Glendale, too, continue to rise.

According to the Department of Health Services which reported the most current numbers on Nov. 30, confirmed cases in Glendale have increased 29% among the city’s nine most populous zip codes since Oct. 23.

Two zip codes have increased by more than 40% over that time -- 85038 (43%) and 85310 (48%).
