In a little more than a month, the number of COVID-19 cases in Glendale has surged 65%, according to figures released by the Arizona Department of Health Services on Jan. 15.

Over the past week, the study shows, there has been an average of 9,309 cases per day, an increase of 62% from the average two weeks earlier.
The total number of cases from Glendale’s nine most populous ZIP codes has jumped to 28,603 as of Jan. 15, which marks a 65% increase in the city since Dec. 11.
