Glendale COVID cases showing slight uptick

Enjoying months of plateauing numbers of COVID cases throughout Glendale’s nine most populous ZIP codes, the city totals are seeing an uptick.

Glendale’s growth rate had remained at 3% or lower since measurement periods that began Feb. 24. According to totals the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) released July 23, those ZIP codes have seen an increase of 3.4% since the last Glendale Independent measure on June 15.

At that time, the June 15 case totals had increased 2.4% since May 10.
