Glendale couple arrested for child abuse after kids walked in heat

Glendale Police arrested a couple who, according to a police report, appeared to be intoxicated and had allowed their young children to walk around in 108-degree heat for several hours Aug. 9.

At 5:55 p.m. that evening, police responded to the 9100 block of West Montebello Road based on a report that two very intoxicated adults had fallen onto their two children while in the roadway.

According to the report Ryan Mullin and his wife, Mary, and their children, ages 5 and 3, were walking toward an Arizona Cardinals red and white practice at State Farm Stadium.
