Glendale councilor says city treasurer role ‘not consistent’ with charter

With a preliminary $1.25 billion city budget on the horizon, a discussion of how — or how not — independent Glendale’s treasurer is per the city bylaws will take place in council chambers.

When the council meets for its afternoon workshop at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, among the topics is an item Councilwoman Lauren Tolmachoff first raised three months ago.
