Glendale council will vote on annexation of Project Eagle, Project Baccara

What could be the final public discussion of Project Eagle data centers and Project Baccara power plant near Luke Air Force Base is on the docket for the Oct. 27 Glendale City Council voting meeting.

Near the end of this meeting, the council will vote on the annexation of the 160 acres these two projects will be on, followed by a vote on rezoning this land from the Maricopa County heavy industrial designation to Glendale’s Planned Area Development.

It is the first action on this annexation in a month. The Glendale Planning Commission voted 4-2 on Sept. 24 to recommend the rezoning of the two projects on one piece of land.
