Glendale council unanimously approves November bond election

At its meeting Tuesday night, the Glendale City Council made official the course it and city staff began charting a bit more than a month ago.

By a unanimous 6-0 vote — with council member Lupe Conchas absent — the council agreed to seek a bite-sized bond approval for projects in two categories totaling $65 million.

Voters will decide on Nov. 4 whether to grand the city the authority to use general obligation bonds for flood control and city facilities upgrades.
