Michael Calles announced he will run will run for the Glendale City Council seat in the Barrel DIstrict in the 2026 election.

While nothing is finalized, Glendale announced Tuesday on its website that five candidates turned in enough signatures to run for the three city council seats decided in this year's primary election on July 21.
