Glendale council approves Broadstone Arrowhead apartments, town houses

Eagle Heights residents want gate to block cut-through traffic

All six Glendale City Council members during the April 22 voting meeting sympathized with The Reserve at Eagle Heights residents and their concerns of greatly increased cut-through traffic if an apartment complex is approved nearby.

But all six council members, minus Mayor Jerry Weiers who was at a conference, approved the rezoning and general plan amendment that makes the 368-unit Broadstone Arrowhead development possible.

Developer Alliance Residential Co.'s project includes town houses and apartments on 19 acres south of Rose Garden Lane and west of 75th Avenue.
