Glendale coronavirus increase rate hits single-digits for 1st time in months

After coronavirus cases increased a whopping 65% in the five weeks throughout the holiday season, the overall Glendale case counts are still increasing but by a much smaller margin.

In the period between Dec. 11 and Jan. 15, case counts increased throughout the city 65%, which followed up a period just after Thanksgiving where cases blew up 51% in Glendale’s 85308 ZIP code alone.

With the holidays now passed, and with vaccinations beginning in January, those numbers are trending in a healthier direction in Glendale.
