Glendale considers stiffer short-term rental ordinance

New short-term rental home reporting processes and reporting procedures to neighbors adopted by Flagstaff and Sedona prompted Glendale to look at doing the same.

City Council members discussed a new short-term rental ordinance during a June 11 workshop session, and reached a consensus on putting this ordinance to a future vote. The discussion sprouted from council member Lauren Tolmachoff’s council item of special interest.

“There’s been a committee that is working on this in Arrowhead Ranch. They have quite a few short-term rentals there,” Tolmachoff said.
