Something felt different for Glendale Community College golfer Warner Beach when he arrived at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana, for the NJCAA Div. II National Championship, his last tournament as a JUCO player.
He’d come a long way from not even qualifying for a tournament back in the fall.
“From the moment I landed on Saturday afternoon I knew that I had a good mindset,” Beach recalled this week. “I was playing really well going into this tournament. We saw the course Sunday and Monday, and it fit me perfectly. It fit my shot shape. I had a ton of confidence going in.”
