A couple of Irish bars in Glendale will go green this week.
Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day typically involves a year-long countdown for bars that cater to Irish culture, and that countdown hits ‘zero’ when the big day falls on Wednesday, March 17.
St. Patrick’s Day this past year was the day Gov. Doug Ducey shut down businesses like bars and restaurants in an effort to slow the coronavirus outbreak. This year, Gov. Ducey on March 5 lifted emergency restrictions previously placed on businesses like bars, which can now operate at full capacity if they so choose, although mask and physical distancing requirements will not change.
