Glendale approves new short-term rental ordinance

At its return meeting Aug. 13, the Glendale City Council unanimously approved a new short-term rental ordinance more extensively during a June workshop session

Similar short-term rental reporting processes and reporting procedures to neighbors were adopted by Flagstaff and Sedona.

"Essentially we're adding the definition of a pet center. We're adding a prohibition against pop-up stores within short-term rentals, we're adding some language that points to the national fire code for occupancy. And the biggest piece is a neighbor notification piece," Deputy City Manager Rick St. John said Tuesday.
