Glendale Airport doesn’t use same chemical found in Luke foam

City: Nearby water ‘well below’ EPA advisory levels

People living south of the Glendale Airport likely aren't going to have to deal with drinking water problems plaguing  those living south of Luke Air Force Base after reports of contaminated wells earlier this week.

Residents near Luke  are using water bottles for drinking and cooking for the next month after learning that high levels of toxic chemicals used on the base may have contaminated the nearby water supply.

Word came Feb. 23 when Luke started making water bottles available to the community pending more testing.
