Glen Dale Curran, Sr., 80, of Sun City, AZ, passed into his heavenly home on May 10, 2018. Glen was born to John Samuel Curran and Anna Curran, November 11, 1937, in Tribune, KS. He graduated from Greeley Community High School in 1955. He served in the Air Force from 1956 to 1959. Glen was employed by Andrew Corporation from 1966 until he retired in 1990.Glen married Carole Anne Schara in 1959, and they lived in Illinois, Texas, Arkansas, full-time RV'ing and Arizona. Together, they raised 4 children: Dale (Kimmy), Brian (Ann Marie), Bret (Michelle), Dawn (Lynn). He leaves 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, his brother Roy (Liz), sister-in-law Rita (Mike) and other extended family and many friends to cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents and 9 siblings. Glen loved to compete at everything, including fishing (his favorite hobby), billiards, bowling, basketball, baseball, horse shoes, tennis, table tennis or just about anything. Throughout his travels and experiences, he seemed to never meet a stranger.Services are scheduled for Memorial Day, May 28th, 4:30pm at Sunland Memorial in Sun City, AZ. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Glen's name to the American Cancer Society.
