A 15-year-old girl died at a hospital Tuesday afternoon after she was hit walking across the driveway entrance to an apartment complex near 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road.

The vehicle was entering the complex parking lot when it struck the girl shortly before 3 p.m. Aug. 25, police said, adding the unidentified teen was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
