Gilbert’s chief digital officer has decided to step down from the position.
Dana Berchman tendered her resignation effective March 7 in an email Tuesday to Gilbert Town Council.
“I think it's time to start thinking about my next decade,” Berchman told the Gilbert Independent. “And I've been giving that a lot of thought and kind of taking everything I've learned here over the last 12 years, a decade plus two, and the decade before that, and figuring out what that next chapter looks like. And I've built an amazing team who will be fantastic even without me.”
