Gilbert Town Council to consider utility rate changes Feb. 17

The Gilbert Town Council is scheduled to consider proposed changes to water and solid waste and recycling utility rates at its meeting Tuesday.

Council members are expected to review proposals that would adjust water rates as well as solid waste and recycling fees to address infrastructure needs and long-term water supply planning.

Under one proposal, water rates would increase by 25% in 2026 with no increase in 2027.
