While lottery players were keeping their eyes on the Powerball drawing Wednesday, a Gilbert store sold a $1 million jackpot winner for The Pick.
The ticket was purchased at Fry’s Marketplace, 1845 E. Baseline Road, Arizona Lottery officials said.
The $1 billion-plus Powerball was won in California.
Among some of the $50,000 Powerball winners in Arizona was an individual who purchased a ticket at Fast Market, 1636 S. Higley Road in Gilbert.
