Gilbert teen violence subcommittee expects to report in April

Youth make presence heard at final meeting

The Gilbert Town Council Subcommittee on Teen Violence expects to give council  its report on April 16 from its four public meetings and then hand off the work to the town’s Community Engagement Task Force.

Chairperson Scott Anderson set that expectation at the final subcommittee meeting March 26.

“The difficult task that we have now is to take all your comments, all these actionable items, synthesize them into a document that we can present to the council,” Anderson said. “So we're going to have to hunker down in the next two weeks, and the three of us will put together a document that will be made available to the public and especially to the council so we can take action on this.”
