Gilbert’s Community Engagement Task Force presented a comprehensive set of recommendations Tuesday to tackle teen violence, focusing on education, awareness and resources.
Unveiled at the Gilbert Town Council study session, the measures aim to create a safer environment for the town's youth and foster collaboration among schools, law enforcement and the community.
The task force proposed a three-tiered strategy: educational initiatives to empower teens and their families; awareness campaigns; and enhanced resources for recreation and mentorship.
