Gilbert Public Schools back to training on ELA curriculum

Pandemic stalled out training after 2019 adoption

After the COVID-19 pandemic threw off training for its new elementary-level English Language Arts curriculum, Gilbert Public Schools is in the process of getting back on track this year. 

The district has been conducting new training this year for ReadyGEN in what the district has deemed a refresh initiative. 

ReadyGEN is a comprehensive English Language Arts curriculum for students in kindergarten through sixth grades that the district adopted in 2019.
