Gilbert police seek more help from public

Posted

In the wake of making four arrests over two days, Gilbert police are seeking additional help from the public on four cases involving teen violence.

The cases involve one of the department’s four reopened cases and three of five new cases that have been reported since the department announced Dec. 28 that it was reopening the four cases.

Police gave these details on the cases:

22-147572: A reopened aggravated assault case reported to have occurred at a residence located near Higley and Elliot roads on Dec. 17, 2022. A previous arrest has been made, but police are looking to identify additional individuals involved.

24-1419: An aggravated assault that occurred on an unknown date in the parking lot near the intersection of Williams Field Road and Market Street.

24-1414: An aggravated assault investigation believed to have occurred on a sidewalk near Guadalupe Road and Freestone Parkway on an unknown date.

24-1392: An aggravated assault believed to have occurred at a parking garage near 72 W. Vaughn Ave. on an unknown date.

Police are asking that anyone with information that can assist them with identifying the victims and the individuals involved in these investigations report the information directly to the Gilbert Police Department by calling 480-503-6500 and referencing the corresponding case number and the associated letter on the bottom right corner of the image.

Tips on these cases can also be submitted anonymously through the department’s online tip site glbrt.is/GPDSubmitATip  with reference to the case number.

The investigations are separate from Queen Creek's investigation into the death of Preston Lord.

Police also thanked the public for its assistance in the assault at Williams Field Road and Market Street on Aug. 18.

Police have arrested Christopher Fantastic, 18; Aris Arredondo, 18; and two juveniles in connection with that case.

That case also remains active and police continue to accept information and tips related to it.
