Gilbert Police mark Domestic Violence Awareness Month

The Gilbert Police Department is marking Domestic Violence Awareness Month with a series of events aimed at supporting survivors, honoring victims and raising awareness about an issue that affects families across every community.

Counseling Manager Keith Bradshaw, who leads the department’s counseling team, said the month is an important reminder that domestic violence “crosses all the socioeconomic and gender and religion” lines.

“No one's exempt,” he said. “There's no exceptions.”
