Gilbert native to participate in maritime warfare exercise

Tyler Courson will be participating in the world's largest international maritime warfare exercise

Gilbert native and 2016 Perry High School graduate Tyler Courson will be participating in the world's largest international maritime warfare exercise. 

Courson, who is a junior grade Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, serves overseas and manages Navy ships and systems on board. 

The exercise is called RIMPAC, the Rim of the Pacific exercise. This program will provide training for participants to practice communication in relationships, establishing safety at sea.
