Gilbert Days Festival set for regional park Nov. 17-18

The town of Gilbert is hosting the Gilbert Days Festival at Gilbert Regional Park with live music, food and drinks, local shopping, and family fun activities Nov. 17-18. 

Presented by Earnhardt Auto Centers, the two-day festival is a celebration of the community. The 2023 festival will take place from 4-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.  

Products for sale will range from Gilbert gear to home goods. A family-fun area will feature 10-plus inflatables and backyard games at no additional charge. All activities inside the event are free.!= 
 
This event is part of the 2023 Gilbert Days Celebration and is open to all ages. There will be a sensory-friendly space available on site.  

The entertainment schedule includes:  

Friday, Nov. 17 

4:45-6:45 p.m. Soulitify, a Phoenix area cover band; 

7:15-8:45 p.m. Black-Eyed Tease, a Las Vegas-based tribute band to the Black Eyed Peas. 

Saturday, Nov. 18 

4:30-6:30 p.m. Breakdown, a Tom Petty tribute; 

7-9 p.m. Gypsy Dreams, a Fleetwood Mac tribute. 

Tickets are required for everyone attending the Gilbert Days Festival and are valid for single-day entry only. 

Tickets for Friday and Saturday are $5 per person ages 13 and older if purchased online by Nov. 16, plus taxes and fees. The price will increase to $10 per person at the gate (no cash), plus taxes and fees. 

 

Children 12 years and under are FREE but must have a ticket to enter. An adult general admission ticket must be purchased in order to register for a child general admission ticket. 

 

Tickets do not include food or drinks. These must be purchased separately. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

 

The festival will have more than 15 food trucks on-site. Alcohol will also available for purchase for attendees 21 and older with valid identification.  

Vendors will be accepting card payments. No ATMs are available on site. 

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for seating, plus bug spray and factory-sealed water. 

The following items and activities are prohibited and will not be allowed at this event: 

  • Coolers 
  • Briefcases 
  • Luggage 
  • Backpacks 
  • Computer Bags 
  • Outside beverages, including alcohol, except for sealed water bottles 
  • Glass containers 
  • Outside food 
  • Canopies or tents 
  • Umbrellas (chair umbrellas are permitted) 
  • Wagons 
  • Pets, except for dogs on a leash 
  • Illegal substances 
  • Drugs or drug paraphernalia 
  • Frisbees 
  • Fireworks/explosives 
  • Moshing, crowd surfing, and/or stage diving 
  • Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors 
  • Unauthorized solicitations, handbills, flyers, stickers, sampling, giveaways, etc. 
  • Toy weapons or real weapons of any kind (including pocket knives, pepper spray, etc.) 
  • Professional recording equipment: photo, video, or audio (no detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms or commercial use rigs) 
  • Drones 
  • Camelbacks 
  • Spray paint 
  • Large chains or spiked jewelry 

Note: All bags and strollers are subject to be searched. 

The park is fully accessible by strollers, wheelchairs and walkers, but the sidewalk will not be accessible inside the event area. Accommodations for entry, re-entry, and exit will be made as needed for attendees utilizing a wheelchair at this event. 

Leashed pets are allowed at this event, but owners should pick up after their pet.  

Low sensory tents will be available for attendees who need to take a sensory break and to help individuals and families feel calm and supported. Both calming and stimulating items are provided to help support an individual’s sensory needs.
