The search for Gilbert’s next town manager will focus on guiding the town through the transition from decades of rapid growth to long-term sustainability, officials said.
As Gilbert prepares for the Jan. 2 departure of Town Manager Patrick Banger, Town Council has appointed Assistant Town Manager Dawn Prince as interim manager during the process of finding his successor.
The council also selected a consultant to help lead the search: Slavin Management Consultants of Norcross, Georgia, the same firm that helped recruit Banger to Glendale.
