Gilbert council revises ethics policy, code of conduct

Gilbert Town Council approved revisions to its new ethics policy and code of conduct at its Nov. 14 meeting.

The changes relate to conflicts of interest and the ethics complaint procedure. Council unanimously approved the revisions, which came from its ethic subcommittee, without discussion.

The council at an Aug. 1 study session asked the subcommittee to consider revising the conflict of interest rules in the code of conduct. That came in the wake of two complaints from Maricopa County island resident Terri Naddy against Council Member Yung Koprowski for conducting business with the town.
