Gilbert, ASU extend partnership on sustainability programs

Gilbert will continue working with Arizona State University students to explore solutions to local sustainability challenges under an agreement unanimously approved by town council.

The council approved a three-year extension of its intergovernmental agreement with ASU's Project Cities program Oct. 20 as part of its consent agenda.

The program connects university students with municipalities to research local challenges and develop potential solutions that can help guide government decisions.
