Gilbert Advocacy Center on track for fall opening

The long-planned Gilbert Advocacy Center is nearing completion and remains on schedule to open this fall, with town officials reporting significant construction progress and expanding plans for services.

The facility, designed to centralize services for victims of crimes such as domestic violence, child abuse and human trafficking, is expected to reach about 75% completion by April, with substantial completion anticipated in the coming months.

After that, staff will begin moving in and preparing for operations ahead of a fall grand opening.
