Gila River Bridge work on March 28-30 will affect Florence traffic

Residents in Florence and the surrounding area will be facing a new traffic snag this week.

The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising drivers to plan for nighttime alternating lane restrictions on State Route 79 near the Gila River Bridge beginning Tuesday, March 28.
