With coronavirus case counts and the numbers of Americans receiving the vaccination both trending in healthier directions, there are signs on the horizon that conditions may allow a return to live entertainment.
Among those incremental steps are new approaches to staging live events in an effort to provide entertainment options, support artists and maintain safe guidelines all at the same time. One such approach comes to Glendale next month when Christian rock band Casting Crowns comes to town to perform a 7 p.m. gig on Thursday, March 18 at Gila River Arena, 9400 W. Maryland Ave.
The tour name -- “A Night Under The Stars” -- celebrates the coronavirus-friendly format. Audience members will be able to stay in their car and tune the show in on their radios while watching from a safe distance.
