The stage is now set for the 2024 Peoria Unified governing board election.

Six candidates have made it to the ballot, and there are three seats open on the board this year.

The candidates are former PUSD behavior specialist Janelle Bowles, recent PUSD graduate Mikah Dyer, teacher Melissa Girmscheid, PUSD President Rebecca Proudfit, PUSD parent Jeffrey Tobey and PUSD governing board member David Sandoval.
