German TV network highlights Sun City

Sun City is going international after members from the German television network Pro7 were recently in the community to capture what makes it tick.

According to the show’s director and producer, Vivian Boerngen, growing old in Germany is different than it is in the United States.

“You get put in a retirement home and you wait for your death,” she said. “It sounds cruel, and it’s basically the opposite of being active.”
