Gerard Robert Lavergne, 89.9 years old, of Sun City West, AZ, passed February 23, 2025, he was from Waterbury, CT. He is survived by four children: Dianne, Ellen, Susan & Charles. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Being a man of faith, he raised his children to serve and honor God by being a role model. He instilled in his family a legacy of faith that passed to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jerry, a military career veteran, proudly served in the United States Air Force. His career in the military brought him across the world to many countries like Japan where he met Fujino, the love of his life, and The Netherlands. After retiring from the Air Force, he built a career at The Boeing Company from which he also retired. His compassion for the sick and elderly drew him to becoming a registered caregiver while in WA. He was a devoted husband of 68 years and amazing father. His family, community, and those who knew him will dearly miss him.
