Geraldine Checketts SorensonGeraldine Checketts Sorenson, beloved wife and grandmother, passed peacefully into our Lord's care on March 15, 2008. She was born March 2, 1944 in Preston, Idaho.She enjoyed spending time with her family, on a computer game site, gardening and her Chihuahuas.She was a member of Apache Junction's Goldfield Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.On March 15, 1963 she married Robert "Bob" L. Sorenson in Preston, Idaho and had a loving marriage for 45 years. She is survived by her husband, Robert, two sons, Terry and Richard Sorenson; two daughters, Suzy Sorenson and Sandy Morris; two grandsons, Mike Todd and Ryan Morris; sister, Anna Mae Brandt; two brothers, Lloyd Checketts and Melvin Weeks. Apache Junction Mortuary handled arrangements.
