George Thomas Hoover, 74, of Sun City West passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at home with his family. George was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Vronna (Ronni) Hoover, two daughters, a granddaughter and grandson.After retiring from the Department of Defense in 1994, George and his wife traveled the country before settling in Sun City West in 2001.George shared his passion for technology as a volunteer system administrator for PORA becoming known to many as "PORAGUY."In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
