George Jack Hubbard, 84Sun City West resident George Jack Hubbard died Oct. 21, 2007.A memorial service will be conducted at Grace Bible Church, 19280 N. 99th Ave., Sun City, 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.Mr. Hubbard was born Sept. 13, 1923, in Kansas City, Mo., to George N. and Flora Ann Wharton Hubbard. He graduated from Central High School there and from the University of Texas after serving as a U.S. Navy fighter pilot in World War II.He married Doris Peavy in 1946 and they proudly celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary in 2007.A pilot, ocean sailor, hard worker, computer whiz, father of three children – he brightened the lives of family and friends with his humor, shared adventures and helps of all kind.Mr. Hubbard is survived by his wife; a son, Alan (Eileen) Hubbard; two daughters, Janene (Jay) Breememan and Georgeann (John) Berry; 12 grandchildren; and many wonderful friends.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Bible Study, God Will Provide Fund, 790 Stout Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80921-3802.
