George Frakes, 87Sun City resident George P. Frakes died April 20, 2008 in Colton, Calif.Mr. Frakes was born May 6, 1920. His favorite hobby was fishing in Alaska and Yellowstone National Park every year.He is survived by a son, Dale (Marquita) Frakes; two daughters, Joan (Robert) Sawyer and Janice Baym; two grandsons, Eric Frakes and Andrew Frakes; a sister-in-law; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly, and a brother, William Frakes.A private service will be conducted at a later date.
