George Arthur Conrad, 95George Arthur Conrad, 95, of Mesa, passed away March 25, 2007 at Odyssey Hospice Care in Mesa, after a short illness.He was born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia on Nov. 22, 1911, to James and Ethel (McKay) Conrad. He moved to the U.S. when he was 12 years old.He was predeceased by two brothers, James and Austin.He is survived by his son, James of New York; daughter, Judith Mason of New Hampshire; niece, Sandra and nephews, Bruce and Keith Conrad, all of Nova Scotia; six step-daughters, Iris King and Jeanne Phillips of Arizona, "Tia" Pence of Texas, Joyce Skillin of Florida, Faith Stacey and Grace Merrifield of Vermont, 20 step-grandchildren; and numerous step-great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.Ms. Conrad will be laid to rest in West Northfield, Mass. at a later date beside his beloved wife, Faith, who predeceased him in 2001.Adobe Chapel Funeral Home in Avondale handled arrangements.
