SUN CITY - Geneva G. Parrish Huntley of The Carillons Senior Living was born on Feb. 20, 1919 to Lilla and Ferdinand Parrish in Beaver, Pa. Geneva entered into rest on March 31, 2016. She married Sidney C. Huntley (d.11/15/02) on June 29, 1940 in Akron, Ohio. They lived in Avon Lake, Ohio for 40 years prior to coming out to Sun CIty, in 1988. Geneva was very active in the Avon Lake Chapter - Order of Eastern Star #557 for over 50 years. She was also Past President in Lake Shore Women's Club, a former member of Ohio Federation of Women, and Lakewood Women's Club. When they retired to Sun City, Geneva was active in Women's Shuffleboard, member of Sun City Players, Roadrunners Bridge Club and the Ohio Club. Survivors to cherish her memory are, three children, S. Ronald Huntley (Patrica) of Athens, Ohio, Susan L. Huntley - Butler (Larry) of Sun City, and Robert C. Huntley (Nancy) of Peachtree City, Ga.; four grandchildren, Deb McAvoy, Lisa Huntley, Amy Broeker and Matthew Huntley; and seven great-grandchildren. Her loving heart and big smile along with her infectious laugh will be missed but never forgotten. A memorial service will be held at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City, on May 31, 2016 at 11 a.m., with refreshments to follow.
