GCU expands partnership with CityServe to assist local community

GCU will be a hub for CityServe to distribute necessities

After months of distributing much-needed food boxes to the local community, Grand Canyon University is expanding its partnership with CityServe and committing to its community in a big way.

GCU announced earlier this month it will become a distribution hub for CityServe, a faith-based nonprofit located in Bakersfield, California. CityServe functions as a network of churches and other faith-based charities to pipe necessities like food, furniture and clothing directly into the communities they serve through donations and relationships with large national retailers such as Amazon and Costco.

Those partner churches and charities identify families or individuals in need.
