It is with love and remembrance that we share the passing of Gary Whitney Hammond, who departed this life on April 19, 2025, at the age of 83. Gary was born on February 14, 1942, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, raised his family in Wisconsin and later made his home in Fountain Hills, Arizona. Throughout his life, he was known for his quiet strength, kind heart, and steady presence. He touched many lives with his warmth, humility, and unwavering integrity. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kay; his sons, Greg and Doug (Brandy); and his cherished grandchildren, Sophie, Olivia, Alexander, and Anna. Gary’s love for his family was evident in everything he did, and his legacy lives on in their hearts. Though he is no longer with us, the memories we hold—the laughter, the stories, the comfort of his voice and company—remain as a lasting legacy of the life he lived so meaningfully. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Services will be private.
