Gallitano, Bolick lead races for senate, Wilmeth leads for house seats in LD2

Early voting results Wednesday morning night show Amelia Gallitano in the lead for the Democratic nomination and incumbent Shawnna Bolick in the lead for the Republican nomination for the Arizona Senate in Legislative District 2.

District 2 is primarily located in north and northeast Phoenix.

Gallitano had an over 7,000-vote lead over opponent Dan Toporek. In early results, Gallitano had 10,014 votes to Toporek’s 3,004.
