Mark Lamas, the director of support services at the Florence Unified School District, is currently in Ukraine as a volunteer to help Ukrainians caught in the war with Russia.
Lamas is volunteering through the Global Augmentation Group’s Operation Ukraine. Global Augmentation Group is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that assists other NGOs and churches helping the Ukrainian people.
