An upcoming fundraiser to welcome Liberty Wildlife’s opening of new enclosures for its resident bobcat, coatimundi, raccoon, and more, is coming to Phoenix.

“Mammals in the Moonlight,” a dinner event, takes place at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at Liberty Wildlife’s campus, 2600 E. Elwood St., in Phoenix, along the Salt River. Guests will help celebrate efforts to save these species, and the hundreds of other birds, reptiles and other creatures seen in Liberty’s wildlife hospital each year.

Liberty Wildlife’s mission is to nurture the nature of Arizona through quality wildlife rehabilitation, natural history education, and conservation services to the community. Further, the Liberty Wildlife Non-Eagle Feather Repository program provides feathers to Native Americans in support of their cultures

Tickets for “Mammals in the Moonlight” are on sale at $300 apiece, along with options for premium tables and other sponsorship opportunities at https://e.givesmart.com/events/Jda/.

Support for the event, and all Liberty Wildlife programs, comes from SRP, The Walton Foundation, The Weese Foundation of Arizona, Tito’s Vodka, Cancion Tequila, Cave Creek Distillery, ARC Document Solutions, Albertsons/Safeway, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, and others.
