A 45-year-old man wanted for kidnapping and aggravated assault has been arrested following a search by the U.S. Marshals Service and Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, authorities said.

PCSO confirmed Saturday morning that Donald Hill was arrested in the Coolidge area and has been booked in the county jail.

The Marshalls Service announced Thursday they were looking for Hill, a fugitive wanted on five counts of kidnapping and aggravated assault. Authorities said he was considered dangerous.

Federal officials were called to assist deputies in the search near 10th Street and Vah Ki Inn in Coolidge. Hill had been seen in the neighborhood Thursday morning but was not apprehended, authorities said.

Nearby schools were locked down for a period during the early part of the search.
