Critically-acclaimed Mexican act Fuerza Regida will bring his Otra Peda Tour to Phoenix.
The band recently achieved a significant milestone in their career by performing their inaugural show at BMO Stadium, surprising fans with the special guest appearance of Calle 24 on stage. This hometown performance holds special personal and professional significance, as it also marks the first time a Mexican-American band has ever played at the home of the LAFC.
The BMO show marks the stadium capacity debut of artists in this genre in the U.S., having drawn a crowd of more than 22,000, the highest-attended Latin show in the venue’s history.
Fuerza Regida will be downtown on Friday, Oct. 20 for a performance at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre, 2121 N. 83rd Ave.
"We have been very blessed with the level of success we have seen across shows. We are going global, gracias a Dios," Jesus Ortiz Paz (JOP), Fuerza Regida frontman, shared in a news release.
Before the tour opened in July in Los Angeles, Fuerza Regida performed an electric performance at Dallas' Dos Equis Pavilion. The sold-out Dallas event included a guest appearance from Chino Pacas and was attended by over 20,000 fans.
The tour culminates near the band’s hometown, in Anaheim, at the Honda Center on Nov. 25.
